This book cover and promotional design were created for Sitrep, Pikes Peak State College’s military literary and arts journal. The goal was to honor authenticity and connection through bold composition and inclusive representation. Each visual element, from the shield emblem to the layered portraits, reflects the publication’s core themes of expression, honor, and our community as a whole.

The project’s color system draws from military symbolism and unity, while the grid-based layout maintains structure and clarity. Together, the cover and supporting materials celebrate the courage and individuality behind every story shared by veterans, students, and artists.
